Bayla Nelson

Bayla Nelson has an abscess on the brain caused by a strep infection. As a result, she cannot go to school or even be around any other children. This is a tragic not only for Bayla, but also for her mother who supported the family through a day care business. Because of Bayla cannot be around other children, her mother cannot continue her business causing serious financial difficulties for the family. Additionally, Bayla receives heavy medication for her condition with unfortunate side effects that will cause her to have to have heart surgery.
