Trey Schafer

Trey Schafer's diagnosis with type 1 diabetes caused major changes for him and his family. There is no cure for this disease that requires constant monitoring and medication. The Prestige Miracles Foundation was able to provide support for Trey to attend a special camp for youth who have this life-long disease.

His family was most grateful. "The donation from the Prestige Miracles Foundation provided us our first break since Trey was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes almost a year ago. The money paid for Trey's week at the American Diabetes Association's Camp Colorado. The Eagle Lake Camp continued to count his carbs and test his blood glucose levels 6-10 times a day and gave him insulin shots 2-4 times a day. At camp, Trey learned a lot about his disease from fellow campers and the med staff. Thank you Prestige for your kind donation."
